Welcome To 2025
Wishing you all a belated Happy New Year. Whilst this post is a little tardy (I've been busy launching my YouTube Channel), it's better late than never, because we'll be talking about the rest of the year to come.
At first glance, 2025 is looking like it will be an especially dynamic year.
What the Astrology of 2025 Could Mean for You
The answer to this question isn't an easy one. There are countless ways that the energy can manifest in your life. Plus it is always better to look at such things through the lens of personal transits of the planets through your natal chart, because where they are located and what aspects they're making to others differs for everyone, with a very wide range of outcomes. However, needless to say, with some of the outer and social planets making big moves into new zodiac signs in 2025, we can expect there to be some big shifts both personally as well as collectively.
The Notable Planetary Movements of 2025
2025 is a big deal Astrologically. There are an unprecedented number of 'Big Daddy' (as I like to call them) outer planets moving into new zodiac signs all in a short space of time. That is what makes 2025 stand out from the majority of annual outlooks we've known in our lifetimes so far.
A Shift in Focus: The Lunar Nodes Change Signs
The North and South Nodes are moving signs early on in 2025, setting the tone for the changes ahead. The Nodes are directly related to how we personally and collectively flow toward our evolutionary calling and out of our comfort zones. So, from 11th January 2025 to 26th July 2026, the North Node will be in Pisces and the South Node will be in Virgo, indicating that we will move into a time that urges us to tune into our intuition and inner wisdom. It also asks us to utilise our compassion, heal ourselves, and apply forgiveness. We need to be careful how we dream and manifest our thoughts and desires in our daily realities. With the South Node in Virgo, it could be all too easy to fall into patterns of criticism and perfectionism, but know that we are healing this. Virgo energy also calls for us to lean into our natural ability to be in service and help others.
Dreamy Adventures: Neptune into Aries
Travelling through Pisces since 2011, Neptune begins a new era by starting its dance into Aries in 2025. Beginning 30th March, but due to its retrograde movement, Neptune will only be in Aries for a short while before returning back into Pisces on 22nd October. During its sojourn into Aries, we could experience more drive to connect with a sense of Divine connection or spirituality. There may be a deep-dive into the realms of the subconscious, with people feeling a need to listen to their deeper thoughts, dreams, and urgings. Needless to say, Pisces and Aries energy presents very differently, so it should feel like quite a dramatic shift.
Disciplined Action: Saturn into Aries
Following suit with Neptune, Saturn also moves into Aries on 24th May this year, bringing the 'Tortoise and the Hare' fable to mind. Saturn ordinarily likes to do things slowly and over a great length of time, and Aries energy is very fast, so this is somewhat of a paradox. Due to Saturn's retrograde movement, it will return to Pisces on 1st September, but regardless, the shift into these very different energies will most certainly be felt. There may be greater emphasis on stepping forward into roles of leadership or responsibility when Saturn steps into Aries. There may be more impulsivity afoot, and yet on the other hand, there may be a greater passion to want to work harder towards goals and ambitions, regardless of the time it takes to reach those lofty heights. Change will undoubtedly be inevitable, and it looks like the winds of change are coming to us all.
An Abundance of Care: From a New Source: Jupiter into Cancer
On the 9th June Jupiter moves into the sign of Cancer, where big feelings may follow. This should herald a time to feel into our collective ability to show compassion and care for our fellow human beings and to anything requiring our emotional healing. There may be a tendency to want to hide away when the going gets tough, but ultimately the drive to want to act upon our innate need to care and do the right thing will succeed. We may learn to nurture ourselves more fully, and listen in to our inner needs. It's a time when intuition and subtle feelings will be more easily reached, which may ultimately catalyse some inner healing.
A Sudden Influx of News: Uranus into Gemini
Expect there to be a buzz about communication in 2025. Starting on 7th July Uranus, the planet of electronic things meets Gemini, the sign of communication. Maybe there will be the onset of a new form of communication device or system that makes the exchange of messages even more effective than it already is. Maybe AI will go next level. We may be feeling electric or static in our bodies, and watch the skies for literal lightning storms. There may be sudden intellectual breakthroughs that forge us ahead and into future realities more swiftly. However, due to its retrograde movement, Uranus will be in Gemini only until 7th November, before returning to its former sign, but not before stamping its mark on a new sense of normal for us.

2025 Conclusion
Whilst there is a lot going on, with nobody feeling immune from what will be quite the tour de force of shifting energies, it is important to be open to the idea of things being set in motion for a reason. I like to think that there is a method to the madness, and that things are happening for a reason that will become apparent later on. Sometimes things are shaken up so that we can decide how we move forward and allow the dust to settle in more beneficial ways.
No one has a magic crystal ball that can show exactly how this energy will manifest, but the Astrology of the up-and-coming planetary movements can show the general themes that will be at play. Time will tell how it all transpires, and sometimes we need to know that 'This Too Shall Pass.'
All the best to everyone as we traverse this time together.
To the Moon and back,
The Astrology Sage.
